Legal notice for women's prayer space in all institutions

A legal notice has been sent to the concerned to ensure separate prayer spaces for women in all institutions.

Supreme Court lawyer Advocate Farhad Uddin Ahmed Bhuiyan sent this legal notice to the concerned-on Thursday.

This legal notice was sent by registered post on behalf of Shabnam Bhuiyan, a resident of Dhaka, the son of a freedom fighter.

Advocate Farhad Uddin Ahmed Bhuiyan told reporters that the legal notice has been sent to take necessary measures to ensure separate prayer spaces for Muslim women in mosques, Eidgahs, public and private institutions, courthouses, public places, tourist centers, trade fairs, airports, land and river ports, railway stations and educational institutions across the country.

He said that this notice has been sent to the Secretary of the Council of Ministers and the Ministry of Religion, the Director General of the Islamic Foundation and all the DCs of the country.
